Ten musicians, eleven instruments and musical references that stretche from the groove of Latin America to the folklore of the Balkans - this is MENIAK. Their music is an inspiring fusion of Latin, Ska, Dub, Balkan Beats, Drum'n'Bass and Reggae. They have played more than 250 shows in D, FIN & CZ!

Ten musicians, eleven instruments and musical references that stretche from the groove of Latin America to the folklore of the Balkans – this is MENIAK from Chemnitz. Their music is an inspiring fusion of Latin, Ska, Rock, Dub, Balkan Beats, Drum'n'Bass and Reggae. Fat basslines, sometimes propulsive, sometimes lyrical drumbeats, guitarsounds that skilfully alternate between playfulness and hard distortion, sonorous percussion, and a furious brass section that plays for their very lifes form an entirety that gets everyone dancing.
The band has played more than 250 shows in Germany, Finland and Czech Republic. Their third record – 'la vida en el barco' was released in autumn 2014.
