Helium5

The roots of Helium 5 are clearly based in the Alternative and Nu-Metal genre.

Helium5, founded in 2014, follows their very own way.
Every member has grown out of the well known Dresden band community and played before in bands like “Sedativa”, “Rasun” and “Die Norm” which is, style wise, nowadays unlikely to recognize.
The roots of T-Max (git/voc), i-Thing (bass), Phill (drms) and Ed Myer (git/voc) are clearly based in the Alternative and Nu-Metal genre.
One big challenge for Ed Myer is the singing and songwriting in German nevertheless that there are still songs in English. “It`s quite easy to sing songs in English, especially in this particular genre”
The Songs are recorded DIY in their own DigdirtStudio. As a provocation against the slavery of standardized soundstandarts and formats, Helium5 decided to record analog and released (for now) their first record in the good old MC format. Still, there have been others who did that recently, but with a “stupid idea” like this you provoke automatically controversy discussions. “That is exactly what we want to cause” says the T-Max, the second guitarist.
On the „Daemon-Station“ release you will get the width of Helium5`s output. The oval includes even the track “here is the love” a romantic love song which you wouldn't expect at this stage.
Phill loves those up and downs: “you'll never know what comes at next, even though that's the same band you have paid the ticket for.”
It is Helium5's progessive fingerprint which makes the difference. Those guys just give a damn fuck about whole the alternative-metal stereotyps and atitudes. With Helium5's unique heavyness everyones taste will get his arse kicked.
