Morlas Memoria - that’s a classic voice with massive guitar rock!

The local band from Dresden (Germany) was estabished in spring 2011. Ever since, Morlas Memoria has performed many successful gigs. The first album was released on the 3rd of May 2014 at the 3rd 'Düsterfest' in Dresden.

Morlas Memoria – that’s a classic voice with massive guitar rock!

The local band from Dresden (Germany) was estabished in spring 2011. Ever since, Morlas Memoria has performed many successful gigs. Among others, the band has already supported well-known acts like Stahlmann, Zeraphine, Ostfront and Untoten. In 2012, the young lineup won the Freaky-Friday-Night at the Reithalle Dresden and thus competed successfully against various bands that have played together for a much longer time. Apart from that mentioned contest, the band has started their first own event series called 'Düsterfest'. As a small festival the 'Düsterfest' offers unknown bands a great chance to present themselves.

In 2013 Morlas Memoria started recording their debut album, which was released on the 3rd of May 2014 at the 3rd 'Düsterfest' in Dresden. A few days before that, the band released a music video with the titlesong from the album 'Follow The Wind'.
'Follow The Wind' combines the skills of each musician to a wonderful work of art. The band is especially proud of the cooperation with a real choir, strings and a hornist as well. The use of real instruments instead of samples en masse makes Morlas Memoria extraordinary. The result sounds exactly how female fronted metal should be.
